Elias has had a really hard time with leaving family and heading to kindergarten on his own. He's been really anxious, clingy, and emotional. Today, we took the parent variable out and had Finn take E.O. down the street and onto the bus for the first time. Finn really took it upon himself to reassure E.O. and take care of him all they way into his classroom. I snapped this pic as they walked down to the bus stop.
It seems to have worked... with having big brother and a the distractions of a bunch of other kids and dogs there at the bus stop, Elias hopped right on. But I'm betting he's still going to give October an earful when she picks him up this afternoon.
