The days of fog broke this afternoon...

A few shots from outings this weekend. The fog has been really socked in, but it broke around 3pm this afternoon when we were out for a walk at Point Louisa. Tough to take bad photos with a family like this and a sunshiney day in Juneau. First photo taken at Sunshine Cove on Saturday, the others at Point Louisa on Sunday.

Chubbin up and other adventures

Elias is doing great and is packing on the pounds... after the normal drop from birth weight, he went from 7 lbs -10 oz t0 7-7 at discharge. He was up to 7-14 at his 1-week checkup, and at 13 days he was up to 9-1. That was a jump of about 15% in 6 days... you can really see his cheeks and chins filling out in this pic, taken tonight...

Elias Orion Moynahan

A few pics from the first couple days... Elias is doing great - nursing well, sleeping well, and having some really nice moments of that quiet wakeful time when he just sits in our laps and looks right in our eyes. Amazing stuff. October is doing quite well, and went for a short walk today. Maille has been a wonderful, nurturing big sister. She's very attentive and impossibly sweet. Finn had a little bit of bumpiness the first day or two, but with getting back to schedules and getting him a bunch of focused time with Dad, he's back to his old Super Self and is helping out a ton. Seana is here for another week and a half, and it's been a huge help to have her here... the hand with cooking and cleaning is great, of course, but it's the small things that are the biggest help... taking Finn out to ride his bike, working with Maille on an art project, and helping both of them put together a nice diaper changing station for Elias. We're so thankful she's here. All in all, life is very, very good.
