Finn's 6th Birthday
got the idea of a Baked Alaska for a birthday cake, and October came
through again! Everyone was pretty wiped out with a great Christmas
by the time we rallied for an evening birthday party, but Finn had a
blast. One of the greatest hits was the remote controlled helicopter
from Grammy and Grampa. That last photo is Finn showing off his
safety glasses that came with his own toolbox of real tools... why
don't they make those in kids sizes??
Elias turns 2
little family party at home tonight with his requested cake (soccer
ball) after his requested dinner (chicken soup). The big hit was the
baby dolll that Maille picked out for him - in fact, it was the second
and last gift he opened.... maybe we'll get to the others tomorrow...
Pinewood Derby 2012
car, "Great Grey," got the full-feathered owl treatment. Finn went
with the classic cherry red muscle car, complete with flames. It was
a ton of fun - each fared well, and there were a lot of proud smiles.
